Thermiculite 894
Thermiculite® 894 is a flexible gasket compression packing, made by over-knitting strips of Thermiculite® foil with a fine Inconel 600 wire and then braiding a number of those Thermiculite /Inconel strips to produce a square section sealing material available in continuous coil form. The 894 is used in conventional high temperature valve stem sealing systems for on-off or isolation valves. Alternatively, as the header rings either side of a conventional valve stem sealing stack.
Novus Spiral Wound Gaskets
Novus Spiral Wound Gaskets consist of a V-shaped metal strip spirally wound in combination with a soft, filler material. The metal strip provides outstanding recovery, while the flexible filler guarantees excellent sealing. Due to this combination of materials the spiral wound gasket is suitable for sealing under severely fluctuating temperature and pressure conditions. Depending on the application, the spiral wound gasket can be specified with outer and/or inner rings. Spiral wound gaskets can be used to seal fluid pressures up to 250 bar and from cryogenic temperatures up to elevated temperatures of 1000oC.
